LOL@Shawshank……..Masterpiece of film. Not sure it would have been the same if Morgan Freeman hadn’t have been narrator….I feel sorry for the prison warder…he was so bad(evil) that he didn’t get many roles after that apart from a part in Broken Arrow with John Travolta and Christian Slater. But the part he played in Shaw-shank he played well. Maybe he just retired…..who knows?
Favorite line from Shaw-Shank is what the old bloke wrote on the beam….get busy livin’ or get busy dyin’. Favorite scene is where the record is played and all the in-mates listen to it. You can’t better those sort of moments.

Great film
You’re right, the way he narrates is something else, he narrated march of the penguins too and I doubt that would be as good either had it not been for him talking. Voice gold.

I’ve been watching the film Cello-tape recently..i was clinging to my seat. Director said…well that’s a wrap but i was still clinged to my seat. LOL
Yeah…Morgan Freeman has that great sense of narrative style. I find the name Free man quite funny.
