A message to Esme.

Hi ya,

Good news.
Before I post the latest from Esme’s husband let me explain that I don’t think Esme will thank me for being so open in posting the details of personnal messages between her husband and friend. I have decided to post them because you have been magnificent in your support. When the time comes that Esme is fully ‘compos mentis’ I will remove these medical updates and suffer the consequences from one we all love LOL.

Hello Cath

Esme was able to have her hair washed, make-up applied and jewellery on today. The neurologists reviewed Esme and think she should be OK!!!

BUT!!!!! She is still very ill and will need very careful treatment to get through this. Her electrolyte levels are still not normal and are still affecting her brain resulting in lapses of consciousness every 15 minutes or so, she is still unable to eat and must remain having a central line into a main artery. This allows doctors to give the medication and all the other fluids, salts etc that keep her alive. She does speak from time to time but mostly Esme sleeps. The last time she had septicaemia the doctors said she would not survive another attack, well she did and now she is fighting this added complication also, Esme will beat this and I;m sure she will be back sometime soon. Keep all the prayers and good thought coming they do make a difference.

Carry on as you have, the messages are being relayed, what about posting your favourite photos or anything else which can form a scrapbook?
I’ll compile the collection; send what you like it’ll make a profile of the type of members who belong to JC as if Esme doesn’t know already LOL.
