Go soak your head Emma ffs.
Does it bother you then, that you celebrate a festival based on the murder of thousands of people?
Not at all, I had nothing to do with it. As far as your Gods sh/it goes, Tammuz, Mithra, Saturn, Adonis or BAAL, whoever can kiss my ass. There are thousands of different views on Christmas. I love Xmas, I love the lights, the food, the peace of Xmas and most of all the look on my childs face Xmas morning. I also try not forget the birth of Jesus who might I add was murdered by many. Either way, I could care less what you or anyone else thinks about it, I will celebrate my way and you celebrate the Jehovah way. Whatever works.

You do now, you`ve been celebrating the festival based on a murderous rampage, for how many years….?

And thats how most people think. Question, how many people celebrate jesuses birthday, more than any other birthday? You havnt even met him  Christmas is a religious celebration. It has nothing to do with non christians, yet, some christians have abandoned it because alot of those non christians have highjacked it, and turned it into a greedy money making scheme.

Ive read up on some paganism, and it reads what i said. I dont know if its true, but i think its in the bible too.
Yes, no doubt alot of pagans fought back against the christians, and some christians were killed in self defence. At the end of that war, the christians defeated the pagans any others who dared to fight them.
Its hard to imagine a load of christians going round murdering pagans, as weve been brought up to think there all slipper and cloak wearing people, who pray and help the poor.
The romans murdered jesus, not pagans LOL get the video dude :D5 January, 2006 at 10:54 pm #178880The Romans only carried out Jesus murder. Was the Jews that asked for his murder.
5 January, 2006 at 11:04 pm #178881According to The Koran, Christ was merely a minor prophet in a long line of
prophets which culminated in Mohamed.
And He wasn’t crucified it was a double and that’s how He rose from the
dead.
And the people that wrote The Koran were there at the time so they should
know. Unlike The Bible which was written 600 years after Christs’ death, and
it was written in Greece!5 January, 2006 at 11:12 pm #178882It was a double! Those crazy Muslims! :D
5 January, 2006 at 11:25 pm #178883It’s interesting though that the Koran at least recognises the being and life of Jesus- as far as I know, the bible does not mention Islam?
5 January, 2006 at 11:32 pm #178884:-s That might be because Mohammad completely failed to turn up for a few hundred years. And the writer(s) of the Koran certainly was (were) around to give a good account of the crucifixion. If the story is to be believed, the Koran was penned by God.
