Uh huh.. the placing of a bit of a poisoned point into proceedings
Given recent news revelations, and the inexplicable horrors we as a species tend to unleash on each other.. would you advocate the introduction of the Death Penalty in your native land?
(or for those who live where it’s already introduced – would you like to see it continued? Or changed in some way perhaps?).
I recall a thread on this topic some time back – but
new lamps for old etc..

hang the b@stards before the jury has left3 May, 2008 at 7:42 pm #333224Undisputable? You mean indisputable you retard.
No it’s not indisputable. DNA can be tampered with. There also might be cases where the Prosecution is successful without DNA evidence, and it might turn out 10 years later that the person was innocent.

well done on scoring a spelling point
the real point remains3 May, 2008 at 8:18 pm #333226Myra Hindley…yes
Harold Shipman …. yes
Peter Sutcliffe..yes
Donald Neilson…yes
if its absolutely certain then yes3 May, 2008 at 8:18 pm #333227i think it would be acceptable to use the lethal injection if someone was found indisputably guilty.
For instance the austrian guy his own admittance his daughter and grandchildren /childrens statements, DNA from all of the living children i think they could come up with an absolute guilty charge on this one so yes lethal injection would be appropriate, but i dont think the justice system should return to carte blanche use of the death penalty as has been said mistakes have been made in the past.
So for extreme and proven without ANY doubt circumstances only yes.3 May, 2008 at 8:19 pm #333228The deterrant that is the death penalty in USA states clearly does not work because they still go round committing horrific crimes so I cant see it being any different here.
But Im undecided. I would not wanna be the one to have to push the syringe.
3 May, 2008 at 8:23 pm #333229sod injection just put a bullet in them
