I was told to eat up all my greens, and to think of poor starving children in Africa as I disinterestedly played with godforsaken and rapidly-cooling ugly vegetables. That was unfair. What about the poor starving children in Asia and South America ? Why the hell weren’t they invoked in support of sad parental guilt games ?
I’ll tell you why – it was cos only the poor starving African sprogs got any recognition
in them days.

First we think you’re a good guy, you flirt with The Dark Side, then we recover you but our hopes are dashed when you seem to be lost forever. You’ll come good in the end, though, when you finally confront the diabolic majesty of the Dark Side made flesh in your Emperor. You’ll stand next to Ben and Yoda in rapturous contentment when the Dark is banished. You mark my words.
Has anyone heard report of my ruinous trinity abroad in this place? They must be tempted. I’m still quite proud of my grisly smitheries. I’d have been like Tantalus spying a big bunch of juicy grapes.
I’m in too deep to quit now, already stood as a candidate; already got articles about me. My name’s out there, I’m on the payroll. No other party would touch me with a bargepole now, so I’m afraid I have to stand by the choice I made when I was much younger.
Besides, somebody needs to keep an eye on those sneaky Frenchmen in the EU. They’re up to something.
