Some people are just unbeleivable arn,t they? I promise these are all true.

Former topeless model Linda Lusardi apparantly dialed 999 to ask police if she could use the hard shoulder on the M25, because she was going to be late for her panto and she wanted to avoid the queues??!! Needless to say the police declined her request.

Also a man dialed 999 from Pizza Hut because his pizza had mushrooms on it and he didn,t ask for them.

Another man dialed 999 because he couldn,t remember his phone number and wanted the police to tell him what it was.

A shopper dialed 999 after being refused use of the staff toilet in WH Smiths.

Also earlier this year a man from Huddlesfield dialed 999 because his chinese takeway had too many onions in it, and last year a man in Bromley, South East London dialed 999 because the trains that ran along the back of his house were making the wrong noise.

Funny though they were, I sincerely hope these stupid time wasters were prosecuted. What is wrong with people these days?

    I know – it’s terrible isn’t it??

I’ve even heard of chatroom / message board users who called 999 because somebody accused them of lying. I mean how awful is that???

    “You’re not ill, you’re a ****ing liar”

“Right that’s IT !!!! I’m calling the Police RIGHT NOW !!!”

Needless to say, the Police attend each and every such incident.

911 is a very popular number at xmas in America.. why ?
because you can phone 911 (and i believe 999 now) without a SIM card so they receive the gift of a cell phone and they want to try it out… 911 it is

“Emergency …. which service are you calling???”

“Er…. the SIM card provision service.”

“What address are you calling from???”

“Why do you need to know that???”

“So we can send a Police officer round with your brand new SIM card”

“Oh right. Is that all he wants to do???”

“No, he’ll offer you some seasonal words of advice tailored to your particular need…… madam.” “Oh and you be sure to have a nice day now won’t you?”

And it,s happened again. On one of the busiest nights of the year, stupid people were dialing 999 for nothing. One man rang because he had hurt his finger, another man rang because he wanted to know what time it was in New York!!!

These timewasting gonks should be traced via their phone calls and prosecuted.
