can’t believe its 7 yrs since the 9/11 world trade centres where attacked and fell, i can rem where I was when heard the news, @ college @ me drawing board, a sicken silence fell to the room, manly in shock horror i suppose.

Was watchin the dispatches on c4 the 9/11 hoaxer, can’t beleive sumone would steep so low, to do something like that, Tania Head one of only 19 people at or above the point of impact to survive, who also lost her fiancé in the attacks, well so she says…. only good thing she did was highlight the real survivers website, and traumas….

but to 4yrs she got away with this lie, nobody seemed to question her… turns out she’s from spain her family screwed millions, and not the first time she’s lied….. and at end of the doc, a email was sent to the survivors forum to say she conmimmited sucide… now wonder if thats true or she’s off scamming many more folks….

anyways my thoughts go out to all the true survivors, families, victims off all involved at 9/11………..

yeah i watched that too.. what an attention seeking creep !

my recollections of that day. :

I was going out the house to go food shopping,, sky news was on but volume turned down.. i did that as soon as kids left for school. I saw what i thought was a ” fire” ,turned it up and heard about the plane going into the north tower.

Went shopping.a bus ride of 20 mins away, felt the quietness and realised everyone was in the pubs, just watching television. I joined in, faceless zombies, facing an idiot box of sheer horror at bodies jumping. Was almost disbeleif, and talk of WAR !!

Wars to end all wars, yet again of sons and daughters being called up to national service. and fear, Everyone spoke to each other, stranger to stranger and discussed this. Bush on telly bumbling and ad libbing ( badly) ……

in MY opinion this was NO terrorist attack but a carefully set up one, by the far right.. giving them Carte Blanche to invade oilfields, and contract themselves for the rebuilding. New buildings should never have fallen like that.especially the one that fell with a small fire that housed the C.I A..

    God Bless America.. !

I have a particularly unpleasant recollection of ”that day”. The company I then worked for was hosting a video conference for clients in the UK, who were connected (through our equipment) to an office in the World Trade Centre.

We had several people in the video conference suite and at the US end there were around a dozen people in a meeting room. The conference had been running around 15 minutes when suddenly the screen ‘flashed’ with a bright yellowish light …. followed by a burst of ‘white noise’ …. and the connection was then lost. Nothing we could do got it back. there was no response at all from the US end.

I went down into the service department workshops and inside they were running a big 6 foot square screen with a Rank video beam projector on it. This was tuned to a US TV channel via a satellite feed. I watched the entire horrific thing from beginning to end ………. live.

We learnt later that the yellow flash we saw was the explosion caused by the first plane hitting ….. there wern’t any survivors.

Frankly it wasn’t a day I’d want to live through again.

I don’t think anyone will ever forget watching those towers coming down, conspiracy theories or not. 9/11 is a day for those who lost their loved ones to remember them, personally, quietly and with dignity.

PB, that must have been horrific to witness. xx
