8 days folks !

8 days…. not long is it.? long enough just about to get the christmas shopping finished ? get it wrapped ? get the kids nativities done ?
sounds nice n warm n nice, even if it is a ball ache at times..
but 8 days is what a british hostage, being held by fundaMENTALists has to live.
that is however, unless we withdraw the british forces from iaq. well thats not gunna happen is it ?
and if they murder him they get to be famous ? and what then ? they ALL want to be famous and theyve still got 4 more british men to go at.
do any of you know anyone working in the middle east ? i do. my brother is there, and i feel for these men. any one of them could have been my brother. hes there for two reasons. first to earn a fortune, and second to try and help people get the basics such as running water and power. the simple stuff.
the five men being held are scared and alone. they have families here. one has a mother who is 85 years old and alone here.
what can we do ?
