Nothing at all to do with “Remain” at all. Two very very very evil people.
But, it is nice to see two people from EXACTLY the SAME peer group, with so much in common, bonding.
20 August, 2019 at 5:10 pm #1123565And just remember kids, it is perfectly acceptable to type ludicrous and downright ridiculous “conspiracy” theories when you’re a liberal and not all that intelligent (the lights are on but no one is at home).

Awww. I was hoping that the adjective would have grown in number.
Very, very, very, very evil
Go on, you know you want to.

They say you always remember where you were when JFK was shot. Well that no doubt applies to Americans of a certain age.
One of Our “always remembering”, is surely the result of that fateful and oh so foolish referendum, on whether the people aged over 18 (and in possession of their National Insurance Number) in the UK, wished to remain in the European Union.
I remember where I was. I had just come back downstairs, from the loo, after watching the result all night, (how appropriate @ I was literally on the shitter as the result came in!). Convinced the REAL result would only come in at about 8 AM, I thought “Oh go now for a wee we have hours yet”. And so I gave in and ran to the loo, scared of missing any important bits.
On walking back into my living room I first noted a very, very sad tone in David Dimbleby’s voice. Now this is a guy I had not liked for a long time, as I felt he had been pro Con and pro Brexit on all the Question Times. Yes I had watched them all, I had watched every tv programme, read as many articles, online as I could, both for and against being in the EU. I wanted to be informed.
Dimbleby told me those fateful words,
” Well at twenty minutes to five, we can now say the decision taken in 1975, by this country to join the Common Market, has been reversed by this referendum, to LEAVE the EU.. thi….. we are absolutely clear now, there is no way that the Remain side can win. It looks like the gap is going to be something like 52 to 48. So a 4 point lead, for leaving the EU, and that’s the, er result of this referendum…..”
Yes, like myself, Dimbleby looked stunned. I rewound it on my HDD box. So sure was I, that I had heard it wrongly. Sadly I had not . My son was away on holiday, Spain ironically. So I took the opportunity, being home alone, to cry. Not just for my son’s future, but for all our son’s futures. And our daughters.
As Halloween creeps ever closer and the nights draw in, (how apt was that deadline ffs). I know I will cry again. I feel it is too late now. I wonder if the many who voted to leave the EU, did any research on the many topics before voting.
All I know is that the next day a reporter was shown filming a man leaving a polling station the evening before. He was dressed in manual clothes and was very blazé. When asked by the news reporter ” Do you mind if I ask you how you voted?”, the man replied “I voted to leave mate” smiling and laughing he was.
Then he was asked the crucial question. “Why?” His answer did not make me cry. It made me scream, out loud, at my TV. ” Well I didn’t know much about it mate, I wasn’t even sure if I would bother voting, but I HAD NOTHING TO DO, so I thought why not? I made my mind up in there to vote Brexit……” He then laughed, and walked off, in his manual work clothes.
I wonder if this guy still has a job come January. I do hope he does not. If anything sums up just why the whole stupid fkin referendum, won by just 4 percent, (of the people who could and did vote), should never have happened, it is this complete plank!

20 August, 2019 at 9:17 pm #1123602I remember them interviewing some guy in Derby with his wife. the wife sat there very obediently, her handbag on her lap, as he went on and on in a loud voice. let’s gerrout, gerrout now, no faffin’ around, no ifs. no buts, just gerrout, just gerrout!
The woman sat obediently, a calm smile on her face, looking at him quietly.
After quite a while of this diatribe, the interviewer turned to the wife and said, “Does he always go on like this?”
“oh, yes, sir”, came the quiet reply from the woman, the handbag still on her knees, still calmly smiling. “he’s always been very interested in politics, and he’s always had very strong opinions”. She then stopped and looked at him quietly again.
“Do you think he should run the country?” asked the interviewer.
The wife’s smile froze, her eyes alarmed, the handbag nearly feel from her lap as she replied very decisively “Good God, no!”
I am hoping hoping hoping that this no-deal falls though. There’s going to be a lot of suffering otherwise

20 August, 2019 at 9:24 pm #1123604Ge, I think that if you’re serious about describing your opponents as very, very, very evil, then you are a genuine fanatic – a real nutter.
When I was young, I worked with the Gay Liberation Front against the Christian fundamentalists in the area. It was quite dangerous some times because these fundies were convinced that we were the agents of Satan. Convinced!
No need for argument, no need for discussion. In fact, if they were defeated in argument, it just convinced them all the more that they were confronting Satan’s spawn (sounds like a heavy metal band, I know). In their eyes, we certainly were very, very, very evil.
Scared me, I must say. Some of the guys were big bu**ers, and they looked at us with genuine hatred. Satan’s children i.e. us, were not fit to live.
Wasn’t there some Labour MP called Jo Cox. Her killer must have seen her as very, very, very evil. This Far Right is a menace we all have to live with now.

I am extremely serious about you being a JC abuser Geoffrey and siding with one of the sites biggest abuser, far worse than Morg Melon head, both of you being very very very evil people Geoffrey. Now you can twist it such is your evil way but the fact remains you pair are two of the worst offenders on this site. Badder in the room and you on the boards with your imperialist racist shite and trolling of other contributors.

21 August, 2019 at 4:48 am #1123628Here is one example of the very very very evil Geoffrey trolling the boards.
Geoffrey will regularly make derogatory posts about the American president (conspiracy bullshit usually) and in particular the “wall” on the mexican border. Now Geoffrey being an evil troll described the secure facilities illegal immigrants are warehoused in on the American side of the border as “concentration camps”, a very evil accusation. Geoff likes to constantly compare other world events and other chatters to the Nazi’s because he is a very evil man.
Now when it was pointed out to Geoffrey that 11 miles of 15-20 foot fencing was put up around fortress Calais to control illegal immigrant numbers trying to enter Britain and that illegal immigrants trying to enter fortress Europe caught in the Meditteranean sea are warehoused in EU paid for “concentration camps” back in Libya Geoffrey just totally ignored the facts as Geoffrey tends to do.
No one can have a serious indepth debate on these boards because Geoffrey totally dominates them and will stoop to any depth to win a board argument including lying and misquoting other chatters.
A troll is a troll, no matter whether overtly like the Wigan pie muncher or covertly like evil Geoffrey.
He assumes he is a sophisticated version of Joker however other than the age comparison he really is not.

Uh-oh, you did it again.
You fell into the same trap as last week.
Perhaps someone was driving in front of you going 20 in a 55 mph zone, or maybe you received terrible customer service and couldn’t get your refund.
So you snapped and lost your temper.
Whatever the reason for your explosive reaction, you haven’t yet found a way to keep control and remain calm.
Becoming impatient and losing your temper is sort of like smoking cigarettes. Sure, one or a few hundred won’t kill you.
But compounded over time it’ll secretly damage you from within by alienating yourself, negatively influencing your kids, and indirectly pushing your spouse or close ones away.
Despite your situation being a big deal, you may not know where to begin to fix it.
You feel powerless to control it, so you continue sweeping it under the rug.
Ghosty always knows best so compose yourselves ok earthlings
