Garbage…. No … old garbage…
the country was going to grind to a halt and implode if leave won over 3 years ago. Literally it was the end of the world…. so the ‘ experts’ said !!!!
Still waiting…..
I admit I’m not on the ball like you lot ie:, Ge, Scep, Badder, never professed to be, however I do recognise the same rhetoric being spewed out repeatedly , just dressed differently . Admire Bads passion for it all, but being passionate in ones beliefs doesn’t make it true !! No point in arguing the toss any more, it’s not even argument it’s just playground name calling, we will all see soon who was right etc Tick Tock ey ??

“The term expert in this context is ridiculous
as no country has ever left the eu
how can they be experts”
You do not need to stick your finger in the fire Thin, to find out that it really does hurt like fk

Not old garbage at all.
3 years ago people did not vote for a disorderly brexit.
Nobody is saying that the whole country will grind to a total halt,
but they are saying that in the immediate sense there will be disruption and a shock to the economy, at a time when the world economy is precarious. Even teh free market extremists who support no-deal (the partrick Minford group) accept that there will be a shock – “bumps along the road”, in the word of the govt. Or sinkholes.
In the medium and long term sense they’re saying that the damage of no-deal will be made worse by placing ourselves in such a disadvantage in world trade. We will be the only country in the WTO without a proper trade agreement – they take several years to complete.
The USA are not coming to our rescue any time soon because Congress refuses to allow any trade deal which threatens the Good Friday Agreement.
You don’t need to be an expert in anything to realise that jobs and living standards – especially the living standards of the poor and unemployed, are going to get a lot worse in a disorderly brexit-induced recession. We are all going to suffer, but especially those at the bottom of the pile.
It’s in the hands of 650 people at the moment, but once the shyte hits us all….

19 August, 2019 at 1:12 am #1123442Al Jazeera England is THE only British news channel I have heard emphasise this particular FACT@ “The new British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, NOT elected by the British people”.
The cowardly BBC is so owned.
Can the obsessed and blinkered Brexiteers not see the irony in all this? The very government that created the monster that is Brexit, REFUSED to allow 16 and 17 year olds to vote in a referendum on whether they wanted the people of UK to “Take back control”.
Roll forward almost four years, and the fate of most of these now 20 and 21 year olds has just been decided by 15 year olds!
Yes! Fifteen year old Tory party members were allowed to vote in that Leadership election! In effect choosing our new PM. So 16 and 17 year olds were not good enough to decide their own future, in or out of the EU, BUT 15 year olds are suddenly smart enough to choose our PM!
And the best is loll, this same government is STILL refusing to let those same 16 and 17 year olds have a vote on their future, even though many are now a good 5 years older than some of the children who have just chosen our PM!!!
You really think the UK is a democracy?!
We are the laughing stock of the world…

Animal Abuse ? Paedophilia Covered up by people in power ? The list goes on… the point scoring” I know better than you” , Bullshit that’s been rehashed over the last 3 years is done !!
There will be no winner ..,, OBVIOUSLY !!
There never is !!
Give it a rest………. please !
