20 November, 2017 at 10:53 am #1079661Incidentally, got me thinking of Black and White films and a sheer classic that really got me hooked was : Then There were None…Agatha Christie. 1945…classic. If you don’t know the plot this is sheer brilliance in my opinion. Even if you do know the plot…this is sheer brilliance in my opinion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7UYBixPzvA whole film is here.

22 November, 2017 at 1:40 am #1079784Another one to watch, thank you Q… I don’t know if scep hit on something or not, but someone was telling me that 12 angry men was not even a movie originally, it was a play, it sort of makes sense the way it’s filmed, it does seem like a play, I would have loved to watch that live…

22 November, 2017 at 11:36 am #1079813In my opinion…the best Agatha Christie stories were intended as plays. Take for instance : Witness for the Prosecution. The BBC remake was awesome and to me summed up the creepiness and horror and sheer terror of what miss-direction can do.
Always love Jonathan Creek…..Good thing about this series is that you always want to see more mysteries. Each series had 3 episodes which was awesome because they never over played it.
Always leave the audience wanting more………………
