What does your council pay out money on? Do you agree with the amount of money spent, do you think it is a good idea?

    Just read the:

‘We welcome visitors of all disabilities to the wheel. Wheelchair users please note that the door width is 74cm.’

    Can’t say fairer than that.

But hang on a moment ……

…..isn’t this simply one of several events planned to take place in the square???

Here is the linky: >> http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/www/marketsquare/events.asp?dev=1

The wheel is owned and run by the James Mellors Group – a commercial entertainments and amusements company (another linky: http://www.jamesmellors.co.uk/ ).

You have to pay to take a trip on this wheel – it isn’t free.

In other words it is a commercial operation and isn’t funded by Council taxpayer’s money.
