According to research by the House of Commons library, the reduction in rebate means Britain’s annual contribution to the EU budget will rise to £10.5billion by 2013, but only £4.2billion will come back by way of Brussels spending.
Every household in the UK will be expected to pay £380 a year for the privilege of EU membership by 2013, but will get the equivalent of only £148 back in grants.
The EU amendment bill – which ratifies the Treaty of Lisbon – is due to be forced through the Commons.

I can’t be arsed to have another EU debate…n I’m not particularly pro EU.
The govt shot themselves in the foot though by not granting a referendum on something (Lisbon Treaty) which is supposedly 96% the same as the EU constitution…of course 4% can make a big difference :D
and not forgetting that WE will have the pleasure of paying every single eu gravy train rider their 100k pensions when they get to retire at 55 years old. great innit. :wink:

Exactly. Slavery, do you think that because fascist labour didn’t give us a referendum, that folk will vote for the pro EU conservatives to take their place?
We’ve paid over £50 billion to bail a bank out, seems cheap on the scale of things. I want to be in the Labour Government they love spending our money without our permission. We could all be rich!

I hate it ! as all it did was make the cheapest bidders,, the chinese paints.the fooking non car makers and non manufacturing !
