From what I have heard they can only replace your knee once, I may be wrong but all said and done I hope this time it works for you. My fella has had 3 major ops on his knee, still gives him jip when it’s cold, old fucker that he is lol

You’ll be right love, I can’t imagine the pain, it must be awful. Fingers crossed eh?
As for me getting a life sentence, yup all true haha! Married on our birthday, I’ve been with him for 2 years now… ekk it doesn’t seem that long! He is a glasgow man. Can’t wait to be his wife to be honest  I said never again but here I am
When are you thinking of moving to Aussy? I am totally jealous
5 March, 2008 at 5:42 pm #315744hello arbito mate .. speaking as an ex nurse.. your actually probably better not having a knee replacement .. the scarring and adhesions you’ll incur through multiple ops will only aggrevate the tissue and muscles.. you actually dont need a knee cap like a few other organs and bones in the human body, and might find that just strengthening your upper thigh muscles and ligaments around the knee area will work better .. my sister in law had a car crash and ended up having her knee cap breaking through her skin (compound fracture) they took it out.. offered her a plastic one.. we went online to check it out… for the last 6 years she’s been without a knee cap and doesnt have to worry about it being either rejected by her body, nor infection .. check it out. it might not be what you need but i thik every little bit of info helps xx best of luck hun hope everything goes well xx
5 March, 2008 at 7:38 pm #315745What about having wheelies fitted ?
5 March, 2008 at 8:55 pm #315746My friends Husband has had this done as his kneecaps were shattered years ago. Now he has had one, he is adamant he wont have the other one done, and still feels unsure as to what (if any) difference it has made. The recovery time was horrendous.
Everybody is different though, so fingers crossed it all goes well hun x

hey Red thxs for the info… i don’t know how to say my condition… but it was explained to me that… the knee joint… its the fluid that the knee makes, well mine doesnt stay as fluid it turns into crystal then grows into bones then they get bigger and trapp into my knee join etc… then my knee swells and retains fluid, plus its like a burnin knife shootin thru ur body and well i feel sick as..!! also im allergic to anti-imflamtrays can’t breathe ..!! so its just pain killers, they did say it could keep happening… hense why id of thought take the whole knee out and it won’t happen as no fluid..!! just oiled lol
