its your lucky day, matty is going to teach you all how to cook a very simple, cheap.. but loverly meal for 2, all for less then a fiver, yes.. £2.50 each, less then that even if you have a nice mum you can nick things from
so what you need?
Ainsley Harriott Moroccan Medley Cous Cous 200g – £1.20p for 2 sachets
Chicken Fillets. 2 should be fine.. £1.50p depending what shop, aldi is good
utterly butterly about 60p or any butter, it all works
paprika – nicked from my mums cupboards, not sure how much it costs–
now get a pan and put some heat on, add the butter.. any size dobb will do, but a good amount to get those juices later
now quickly chop the fillets into small pieces, if you like you can buy them diced, lazy people do, but some reason, this costs more, so i prefer to do the hard work myself
once, done.. add to the pan, let it cook with the butter, till all the chicken is basicly white and well cooked
now add the paprika, a good handfull is good..
stir around.. let those juices flow, let the butter soak it in and the chicken soak of the flavors
—
now you all following this
get the cous cous… boil the kettle.. add the water.. let stand for 5 mins
once this is done, get a fork and whisk the cous cous then add this to the pan, with the chicken
stir around for 1 min… then turn of hear and let it stand
then get the plates from the cupboards, usaly they are kept top right, this may vary on different kitchens though and how big you are
serve, making sure each person has the same amount of chicken, make sure each serving gets the juices which will be at the bottom of the pan
and hey presto, there you have it, enjoy
next week
how to make beans on toast.. with bbq sauce

Euch! Mass produced cheap chicken just turns my stomach now!
18 February, 2008 at 12:43 am #313122ok,
if you have been watching the TV… then please stave yourself, or get a chicken, and kill it yourself
even cheaper, chickens are easy to find, catching them is the hard part, I suggest strangling the neck, as shooting it, might spoil it
18 February, 2008 at 12:53 am #313123Quick “tug” and it’s all over for the chicken.
However I’m sure some know more about choking the chicken than others …
18 February, 2008 at 12:55 am #313124a friend of mine used to do it for a living, when he was younger, not a Job I fancy
anyway, you can always replace the chicken with lamb
