Is it time we start putting people who smoke in public places and while driving in prison? A 3 month prison sentence should suffice I think.
Smoking and driving puts people’s lives at danger, and smoking in public places is murdering little children by giving them cancer via second hand smoke.
Should mothers who smoke also lose their children to the child protection services? Mothers who smoke are obviously risking the health of their own children.. surely this should now legally be classed as child abuse?
Your views?

15 February, 2008 at 6:04 pm #312522I’d stick people who spit in prison !
15 February, 2008 at 6:46 pm #312523a prison sentence would mean long hours spent in confined spaces, quite possibly in the company of non-smokers.
Why – do you hate them too ?
15 February, 2008 at 7:35 pm #312524By smoking, are you including illegal substances, or just tobacco?
15 February, 2008 at 7:38 pm #312525And would that be three months per cigarette or three months per packet.. :?:

15 February, 2008 at 11:04 pm #312527Ive said this a lot but how the heck can actors on set being paid at work be allowed to smoke whilst playing their characters? They are at work with camera men directors and what nots all around them yet they can still smoke,
I suppose its because they are “pretending to be in their own homes”.
If this ban is going to work, then that should be addressed because people are still being exposed to the whole thing being exploited publicly, yet the rest of us watch pubs close, stand outside and suffer.

Because if you are driving and smoking at the same time, you may not be concentrating on the road. Which may cause you to have an accident, and cost some poor person their life.
If your changing a radio station, or cd while driving it also alters your concentration. If your checking your sat nat it also alters your concentration
The list in endless, where do you draw the line
