    Just watching a new film called “we own the night” when i noticed a few suspect things.

    Number 1

    The twin towers still standing

    Ive not heard of it. Perhaps its based in a time when the twin towers were still around? I cannot see any other reason for them being there. The yanks are quite sensetive about that sort of thing arent they.

    Im not sure about Rio though…. why would the Yanks want him when all he has committed are crimes against football… would hardly be top of their wanted list lol!!

    It might be based on a earlier time, i did have pop to the fridge for a re-inforcement of beers so maybe they said a date :oops: .

    The film was released on 14th December 2007. However, because it was shot in New York (amongst other US places) instead of Toronto, it took much longer to make.

    The fact is that many films are made and then sit on the shelf – sometimes for several years – awaiting a release date. We all think that a film is made and then released shortly afterwards. Not so.

    Mind you it sure seems a poor bit of ‘continuity’ to allow obsolete background to remain in the film when a swift bit of digital editing could have resolved the matter.
