Just seen it on Sky Sports News and I have to agree. Fair enough, they’re not going well recently but they’ve been in decline for a few years now and continually changing managers isn’t helping.

Keegan returning perhaps? Not much else out there.

It’s gonna be Shearer you just know it, but i believe he will fail aswell.
Newcastle cannot attract the sort of players they will need to be challenging the “Top 4”
The type of players they need to turn the club arround will not go there, and secondly they wont pay the wages. So don’t expect a turn around anytime soon.

We all knew Big Sam was getting an O.B.E in the new year, Out.Before.Easter

the fans are there own worst enemy, any manager needs more then half a season, yes.. dodgy buys, ie Barton but still, the record shows for itself.. clubs who stook by there manager through the bad times have gone on to be better clubs

He should have stayed at Bolton. He took on rubbish at Newcastle, even a miracle couldnt have improved them in half a season.

    Shearer rules out Newcastle job

Shearer scored 206 goals in his time with Newcastle
Sources close to Alan Shearer have confirmed to the BBC this evening that he is extremely unlikely to be the next manager of Newcastle.
Shearer says he is currently very happy with his job on Match of the Day.

The former England captain, who played for the Magpies for nearly 10 years and ended his career at St James’ Park, had been strongly linked with the post.

Newcastle are beginning the hunt for their seventh manager in 11 years after the departure of Sam Allardyce.

Other names linked with the job include Martin Jol, Jose Mourinho(your avin a laugh), Jurgen Klinsmann, Marcello Lippi and former England boss Steve McClaren(hahaha hope you do get the clown).
