Eck bought a few gems when he was at Hibs, but you’re right about the owners – I remember hearing them making that promise. Should serve as a warning to other clubs about takeovers.

Doyle was dropped after making a couple of silly misstakes when we first came up bruce droped him stariaght away he wernt to bad in div 1 but aint a prem goalie

Yep, McLeish was one of Fergie’s most reliable players at Aberdeen but he never done the Gers any favours in the Champions League a few years ago so I wouldn’t be so sure :evil:

Looks like David Murphy’s on his way in from Hibs for £2m. Don’t know much about him except that both Old Firm sides were taking a look at him. He’s a natrual left back but I think he’s just as capable on the right.
