It’s been announced that Roy Hodgson is the new Fulham manager, though he won’t be in charge for tommorow’s game. Not the name I expected to see and judging from the reaction from the fans on Sky Sports News, he’s not the man they wanted either.
That, for me, puts him in an impossible situation. If he fails, and Fulham either stay around the relegation zone or even get relegated then there will be calls for him to go. If they start climbing the table he’ll probably still be under intense scrutiny from a section of the fans.

Still really surprised John Collins didn’t get that one, seems to be the general reaction amongst the fans.

Not sure about Hodgson’s record tbh, but he’s certainly got loads of years of management in his CV and you can’t ignore that.
As for Eck, he does nothing for me. Well, not anymore….

28 December, 2007 at 11:02 pm #298142They did say something about it on Sky Sports News but I missed most of it, something about a dislocated eye socket. How’s Heskey gonna manage to headbutt Steve Bruce? He’d injure himself trying :D
