Christmas should be downgraded unless other religious festivals are marked on an even footing, a Government think-tank has said.

The Institute of Public Policy Research has suggested various ideas to make the UK more multicultural.

It also wants “national culture” barriers to be torn down to help immigrants settle into the UK.

In a report due to be published in coming weeks, the organisation said: “If we are going to continue to mark Christmas – and it would be very hard to expunge it from our national life even if we wanted to – then public organisations should mark other major religious festivals too.

“Even-handedness dictates that we provide public recognition to minority cultures and traditions.”

It emerged in 2006 that three out of four employers were not putting up Christmas decorations in the workplace for fear of offending staff of other cultures.

Oh this one has really p!ssed me off, fck em all if they don’t like christmas, send em home  .

Oh I don’t know … they may have a point here you know.

Think about it … .what would REALLY happen if we got rid of Christmas altogether. After all how many people REALLY celebrate it as a religious festival???

For most it is a ghastly excuse to eat too much, drink too much and be forced to be nice to people you only see once a year – thank goodness.

In real terms it wouldn’t make the blindest bit of difference to anybody’s lives.

Oh and since there is always good news …. all those Turkeys could sleep soundly in their beds around this time of year, and look forward to a great New Year piss up.

I am not sure you can call it Christmas I think you will find it’s either ”winter festival” or ”festive break”

    This is just too much…..

    Muxlim.com
Muxlim aims to become “Yahoo! for Muslims,” according to founder and Chief Executive Mohamed El-Fatatry, a 22-year-old Muslim living in Finland

Who’s going to raise a union flag with me?
