hi peeps,im an avid rangers supporter and was thinking how easy or hard a challenge there will be from the other scottish clubs in th premership apart from celtic i dont think there is going to be anyone else to challenge us for the title.hibs were stong at the end of last season but it,s looking very predictable :D the best thing will be to see if big EK and gordon strachen can keep there freindship hahahhaha…………………………..

I would seriously doubt any1 will challenge Celtic or Rangers this year, or for a long time.
Its feast or famine for the other clubs with their youth policies, and it seems to b famine just now. Theres signs that might b changing, so hopefully in a few years a healthy challenge might b laid down, and that would b gr8 for Scottish football.
That SPL trophys coming back to Parkhead this year.

Rangers and Celtic will compete for the SPL. Hibernian and Hearts have tried to challenge them in the past but they always seem to finish behind them. The SPL is becoming rather uncompetitive. Having just two teams vying fot the Premiership is seriously affecting the modern game. The dominance of Rangers and Celtic is attributable to the way in which Scotland are performing on the International scene. Clubs in the SPL are not bringing through players good enough to compete on the International level.

Rangers have signed foreigners. Celtic have done the same. Outsiders who watch the SPL do not seem to look beyond Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers for players.

It has only been Everton and Blackburn who have made serious moves for SPL players.

Rangers will win the title by all means, but I would just like to see Scotland improve.

Some good young players do come through the ranks at some of the other Spl clubs, but what usually happens is, any players who show any promise are bought by Rangers or Celtic and then get dumped on the bench at best or in the B squard more often. Its their unique way of continuing their dominance.
Im a Celtic supporter btw, but everyone up here sees it happen year in, year out. Hence Scotland has a shyte team. :D
