Ar senal and Chelsea were both lucky to win at home against teams that are tipped for relegation. ManUtd were just pathetic at home against 10 men Reading. Liverpool should have beaten Villa about 9-1, but their keeper was outstanding. I understand that the first game of the season can be tricky with regards to new faces in the teams, new stratagies and formations, but I gotta say outta the “Big 4” Liverpool look by far the best team. Bring it on boyo’s!
12 August, 2007 at 10:46 pm #282657the way I see it is man united, ar senal, chelsea and liverpool.. all struggled… 3 of the teams were lucky to get 3 points.. man united were unlucky not to get 3 points, though possession means nothing if you have john o shea upfront
city looked good, so did newcastle.. nobody else really impressed me
12 August, 2007 at 11:51 pm #282658gerrard impressed me, a match winner! Torres impressed me too, I just got hom efrom Manc city centre and I had a heated debate with some united fan, reckons utd have won more league titles than Liverpool, thats how thick most of them are………….

13 August, 2007 at 2:41 pm #282660Im happy. I thought Man u were going to get their usual 100th minute late goal and grab the three points, but all credit to Reading and their goalkeeper.
Im not even going to talk about our goal keeper
