well our kids back 21st Aug, so ive been gettin the uniform ready fir ma lass….
I must say IM EXTREMLY disapointed in CLARKS shoe shops these days, i have taken my lass to 6 Clarks shoe shops around the Glasgow area to get her shoes… each shop measured her an entirely different size… and when it came to their stock they said’ oh we don’t have the sizes’ I said well could you order me some in to be told…. Clarks do not order shoes in for customers, they only delivered a certain amount to each retailerin unit…. !!! so i WAS told to do my rounds of their shops… I eventually had to take her to John Lewis whom measured and remeasured her and pointed out that her left foot is sizing at she#s 9 btw… 31/2 G and her right foot a 4 H…. !!! yip she has boats its offical lol

but Clarks im disppointed in they had her measured it at 2 1/2 and 3 G fittings plus their policys in not orderin a size to fit… effin a JOKE….!! but ive finally got her shoes 2 pairs of shoes £60…!!!! i was ne’er greetin at partin way the money as JMMOG my last pair cost me a tenner lol

I hate Clarks!!!! You have my sympathies. Spent years sitting in there getting my sisters feet measured as she has some disabilities so we needed special shoes, but not at our Clarks no. We had a two hour journey to another town to get them. Oh long painful memories of really boring days lol!!

Im lucky having boys… plain black shoes job done. My youngest doesnt even have to wear shoes yet, his school understand that at their age they prefer trainers cos they are always playing footie and climbling and running so it makes more sense.

they certainly lack customer services,,, and their policy is SHYTE u can’t order a spec size etc..!!! u can do that with a catalogue…!!! so CLARKS aff me crimbo card list lol

You should send them a moany e-mail…. they might send you some freebie stuff. Ive got a mate who does that and is always getting stuff. Im lazy though and cant be ars*ed, much rather have a winge online about it lol!!!

I totally sympathise with ya Mary. I went shopping for the brats uniform today as they go back to school on the 14th August up here. I can’t afford to shop at Clarks so it was off to DE with me. Could i find a pair of velcro shoes in there for him, could i feck, everything they had was shoelaces, and the brat hasn’t quite mastered them yet. I ended up going into Shoe Express who had a choice of 2 diff pairs in his size. Thankfully he liked one of the 2 pairs and we walked out with them at £13.

What disgusted me the most was the lack of shops here that stock school clothes. I walked into one place who only had trousers for boys, EVERYTHING else they had was for girls. Another only had shirts and I eventually managed to get him a cpl of sweaters in Adams. I’d have gone to the school shop, but i don’t have MUG stamped across me head, so the likely hood of them getting £15 out of me for a pair of trousers is very slim.

I have never been so stressed out having to go shopping for school clothes in the 3 years i have been having to do it.
