As the title says, a blazing vehicle ( a 4×4) has been driven into Glasgow airport. There are suggestions that petrol was being poured onto the ground from those inside the vehicle once it had crashed and that petrol cans were being thrown from the vehicle so it was no accident.
Frightening, especially when you consider the incidents in London involving car bombs and the fact that there was a security alert at Ibiza airport.
30 June, 2007 at 5:30 pm #274601One eye witness said he seen an asian man with a petrol bomb, then someone shouted terrorist, then he desperately tried to get his family away leaving all his luggage behind. He said there was huge panic in the terminal.
What a shame that we voted for a government that allows these moderate muslims to come into our country, then quite possibly use our taxes to blow us up.
When will the zombie BNP members learn…
30 June, 2007 at 5:55 pm #274602Funny you should say that – I was watching FOX news and the point was raised about why Britain seems to have this element of radicalism that other countries don’t.
I just hope that this isn’t the beginning of a chain reaction of these sort of events.

Err…I take it the 3 weeks of national riots across France last year by disenfranchised Muslim youths doesnt count or the Madrid train bombs?
We have an element because we (a very powerful christain country) invaded a weak Muslim country and we are still there, slowly assisting in the death of a nation- it isnt rocket science to see why fruitcakes pick on us
30 June, 2007 at 6:50 pm #274604Very true slayer, and just why do you vote for a political organisation that agrees with that invasion :D
Lets not panic, the new home office minister has just said that the government are doing all they “can” to protect us  Jackie also says that we should carry on as normal and not let this worry us. I expect the Home Office Minister would be quite happy to sit unconcerned in terminal 3 or 6 or 8 at Heathrow Airport
NOT LIKELY!
WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO WAKE UP AND REALISE THAT THOSE WHO RUN OUR COUNTRY HAVE ENCOURAGED THIS ATTACK ON OUR SOIL???
Now i hear theres an unconfirmed attack at Heathrow. Wow, terminal 3 as it happens.

Rubbish! Anything we do is twisted by the islamsists to justify spreading hatred of tne West. Before the Iraq war they were saying the West was keeping Saddam in power while starving Iraq’s people through sanctions.
We have to realise that we are up against a ‘total enemy’ whose defeat is the no. 1 priority if we want to save our civiliastion.
We are not a powerful country anyway, and not really a Christian one either.
Even if we are not a powerful country, a powerful message would be given if convicted ‘failed’ suicide bombers were dealt with under mental health laws and sent to Broadmoor or Rampton for life instead of normal prisons.

I said THESE sort of events, which, incase you missed what the post was about initially, revolved around the events in Glasgow.
30 June, 2007 at 7:23 pm #274607Home Office say security level is now critical, the highest possible.
Oh dear, perhaps they’ll lose votes from this, or maybe they’ll spin it afterwards so that they “look” like our saviours
According to teletext, another attack is expected “imminently”, said Jaqui Smith.

You quoted FOX news which stated that Britain seems to have a radicalism other countries dont- I merely pointed out the fallacy of your quote
30 June, 2007 at 7:44 pm #274609So if it’s their quote, why are you pointing it out to me? All I did was state that in response to something that emma said. Not my quote, not my place to answer to it. Email them.
According to one of the eyewitness, one of them was definetely shouting ‘Allah’ (or whatever it is) but he couldn’t be certain. Does that make sense to anyone? The guy was on fire. He could have been shouting ‘AARRGGHH!’
