I just came across this article on the BBC website. It states that 30 billion people tune in to watch the football world cup every four years.
Now, am I being thick because I thought the population of the world was 6.5 billion. Where did all these other people come from?
They all came from Eastern European countries.

30 million would be to lesser number.
3 billion would be more acurate, but I thought that was the figure of the worlds population. This would mean that all the people in third world countries with no electricity, managed to tune in to watch the world cup.
