    Why is that at the bottom of my screen where it shows icons , when my McAfee is running & protecting my puter there is a little M lit up red but sometimes it stays Black I right click on it & it says McAfee disabled so I enable it but it stays Black even though it says McAfee is now protecting my PC ………….?

    Also every now & again when I switch on A Black box appears saying installing MEME. what the hell is this MEME & where does it come from ……………………………? :? :? :?

    Now you know why I dislike McAfee and won’t use or reccomend it.

    No sorry it doesn’t. I think that you need to post more detail of your issue before anybody can hazard a guess as to what is going on.

    I know what this is, seen it before.

    Anyway Pb how much to buy Ugo message board account?

    I am resevering this name on Fri and would like to get the message board account too.

    because………. McAfee is the worst ANTI VIRUS you could possibly install.

    I have that as well & also have windows defender running to

    sorted my McAfee out now up & running , protected to the max

    I also have Norton Ghost on a yahoo toolbar too :D :D :D

    Im running it at the mo…….. my one is black because Ive disabled the privacy service. If you dont do this you cannot access the simplist things on the net, like e-mail etc.

    Im not too impressed so far, though it has blocked many hacking attempts and has a funky little map to show you the IP of the attempting hacker and the location (all US based :twisted: ).

    I dont like the idea of every time I log in I have to disable one of the utilities just to be able to use the net freely.
