Ive been watching some of the comic relief on tv, and they cut from the “comedy” to footage of children if Africa who need our support, alot more than our children.
I always thought comic relief was about helping all children, but it seems its about prodomanently white liberals pretending they care, and begging us to give help to African children, ahead of others.
Wouldn’t be so bad if Annie lennox etc gave some of their millions.

Does all comic relief money go to Africa? Well I never did!
Oh, n what is that event on BBC every November which raises money solely for British children- the thing with Pudsey bear n El Tel?
Perhaps one event for the UK and one for the rest of the world each year seems fair Emma?
One event for 5 million British kids n one event for 500 million kids around the world- I think I can see where the unfairness is, can’t you
12 March, 2007 at 11:46 am #263948TO be honest, I don’t see the point in getting involved in this kind of argument.. When in reality.. None of the money sent to these charities actually help.
There’s still hunger, starvation, poverty, famine. How has it helped? It hasn’t.
It goes to corruption.

You see, this is the kind of marxist, anti-English ignorance i hate. “You are bad because you dont help the good cause…”
12 March, 2007 at 12:59 pm #263950I glanced quickly and thought it was a thread about spinal disorders called ”Back relief”.
Oh well – you can’t win ’em all eh?

Sadly Tommy your quite right. Over 20 years since the first Live Aid, and what,s changed? Nothing…absolutly nothing. We can carry on giving money and food to these countries until the cows come home, but it won,t make a blind bit of difference. One thing they need to teach these third world countries is birth control.
12 March, 2007 at 2:06 pm #263952I have to agree with you on the birth control part bat :)
