Episode 2 – Alwyn Deacon

Firstly, let us take a closer look at Mr.Deacons hand…yes, a reasonably common “swallow” design tattoo, hmmmm interesting, now lets take a little look at symbolic meanings behind tattoo designs –
“The swallow and bluebird tattoos are designs that show the enduring popularity of nautical themed tattoo art. Traditionally the swallow is a tattoo that a sailor gets after traveling 5000 nautical miles at sea.Swallows are known to travel far distances out to sea during migration and would rest on boats close to shore which gave early mariners the first sign that land was close by.”

The swallow represents to a degree migration, and before you pipe up Emma, yes that is open to interpretation, but an interesting contradiction all the same.

Secondly, this paragraph is interesting to me:
“The result is not merely a testament to the effectiveness of the BNP election machine, it also provides a potent snapshot of the public attitude to the Establishment-approved ‘opposition’ parties, and this is confirmed by the result of another by-election yesterday – in a heavily ‘enriched’ area of Croydon which it clearly wasn’t even worth our while contesting.”
So the first set of results are a “testament to the effectiveness of the BNP election machine, it also provides a potent snapshot of the public attitude to the Establishment-approved ‘opposition’ parties” BUT the second, equally important (with more votes cast) set of results showed “in a heavily ‘enriched’ area of Croydon which it clearly wasn’t even worth our while contesting.”

Ahhhhh selective “effectiveness”, we know we have support in the small Bede ward of Bedworth, no blacks or Asians there, so we will campaign like mad, lets not bother in Croydon, even though almost 1,000 more votes are cast because we’re not liked their and don’t stand a chance. Yet common sense dictates, that in areas of as the BNP put it “heavily ‘enriched’ “, surely thats where the message is needed the most by these poor white English people surrounded by the evil black man and his spear….ooooooo the Zulu’s are coming, has the lesson of Rourke’s Drift done nothing…excuse my sarcasm but what farcical drivel.

“UKIP have collapsed to joke candidate status.”, even though they at least had a candidate running in Croydon.

This is interesting:
“UKIP’s local council seat total (made up almost entirely of defectors elected as Tories or Independents) is going to be decimated come May”, yet in the next paragraph of the article it clearly states “Yes, that lurch is losing the Tories votes, but they are coming to the BNP.”, so your ranks are filling up with defectors…hmmmmmmmmm and then continues “…but we’ve welcomed a number of them into our ranks in recent weeks.”, more defectors, my my, a lot of defectors in your ranks.

Finally, because i have to go out, i love the closing gambit:
“Arrogance and incompetence – the two words that sum up UKIP’s current leadership.”
And yet at the start of the article:

Arrogance – “The result is not merely a testament to the effectiveness of the BNP election machine, it also provides a potent snapshot of the public attitude to the Establishment-approved ‘opposition’ parties”
Incompetance – “in a heavily ‘enriched’ area of Croydon which it clearly wasn’t even worth our while contesting.”
