    de·cen·cy
    –noun, plural -cies.
    1. the state or quality of being decent.
    2. conformity to the recognized standard of propriety, good taste, modesty, etc.
    3. decencies, a. the recognized standards of decent or proper behavior; proprieties: The least you can expect from them is some respect for the decencies.
    b. the requirements or amenities for decent or comfortable living: to be able to afford the decencies.

Nick Griffin (pasted from public profiles of Nick Griffin).
1/ Convicted for inciting race hate, he denies that the Holocaust ever took place and believes that Jews are conspiring against white British people.
2/ In 1980, Griffin launched Nationalism Today with the help of Joe Pearce, a convicted racist and editor of Bulldog.
3/ Met with representatives of Colonel Gaddafi’s regime through the Libyan People’s Bureau in London, and expressed support for Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini. Griffin and other NF leaders took an all-expenses paid trip to Libya, as guests of the Gaddafi regime to obtain funding.
4/ In 1995, Griffin joined the BNP. He began to edit The Rune, an anti-Semitic quarterly. He also announced that the BNP should prioritise denying the Holocaust to schoolchildren. He earned a two-year suspended prison sentence for his sick views on the Holocaust. In 1998 he was found guilty of inciting race hatred at Harrow Crown Court for denying that the Holocaust ever took place.
5/ Quote – “The electors of Millwall did not back a post-modernist Rightist Party, but what they perceived to be a strong, disciplined organisation with the ability to back up its slogan “Defend Rights for Whites’ with well-directed boots and fists. When the crunch comes, power is the product of force and will, not of rational debate”.
6/ Griffin has also held staunchly homophobic views throughout his time at the BNP. Following the bombing of a gay pub in Soho, in which three people died, Griffin wrote, “The TV footage of dozens of ‘gay’ demonstrators flaunting their perversion in front of the world’s journalists showed just why so many ordinary people find these creatures so repulsive”. Yet Griffin’s hypocrisy was starkly highlighted when he was outed by Martin Webster, the former NF organiser, as having a secret gay past.
    Etc,
    Etc,
    Etc.

It seems my interpretation of the literal definition of “decency” is different from yours Emma, but then again i opened a thread claiming Peter Stringfellow had died, a complete and obvious lie, but you instantly believed it and commented as such. I take from that, that you believe anything you read and assume it to be true, hence your support for this hypocrite.

The next PM should be shot…whatever party he represents. You decide, the puppet on the left hand or the puppet on the right, all the same to me.

My entire point seems to have been entirely overlooked by you Emma, you stated “Nick Griffin, defender of decency”. My point was to prove that the word “decency” and the name “Nick Griffin” do not go together. I did this by pasting several points regarding Griffin after pasting the literal definition to the word “decency”. I will answer each of your points and then emphasise why each point i made shows why Nick Griffin is not the “defender of decency”.

    In relation to point 1.
In 1998, Griffin, along with Paul Ballard, was convicted of violating section 19 of the Public Order Act 1986, relating to incitement to racial hatred, for his editorship of issue 12 of The Rune published in 1996. He was convicted and received a nine-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and was fined £2,300. (see Wikipedia).
By inciting racial hatred, Griffin does not adhere to the “RECOGNISED standards of decent or proper behavior” as per the literal definition of the word “decency”. The majority of people, not all, but by far the majority believe the holocaust took place therefore making the belief in that event the “recognized standards of decent or proper behavior”, by denying the existence of this event he betrays the definition of the word “decency”.

    In relation to point 2.
The Holocaust (the word derives from the Greek holókauston (Oλόκαυστον = Oλον [completely] + καυστον [burnt])., also known as Ha-Shoah (Hebrew: השואה), Khurbn (Yiddish: חורבן or Halokaust, האלאקאוסט, is the term generally used to describe the killing of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, as part of a program of deliberate extermination planned and executed by the National Socialist regime in Germany led by Adolf Hitler.(see Wikipedia).
There is nothing wrong with denying it, that is the right freedom of speech allows us, but as the event is predominantly believed to have taken place, then as with point 1, it becomes the “recognized standards of decent or proper behavior”, his denial automatically puts him in contradiction with the definition of the word “decency”.

    In relation to point 3.
Great response from you here, “So?”
So, by believing the “Jews are conspiring against white British people.” he is not being “kind; obliging; generous” as per the definition of the word “decent” therefore in contradiction to the word “decency” as he is not in “the state or quality of being decent”.

    In relation to point 4.
I am sensing a pattern in your responses…”So?”
So, by conspiring with “Joe Pearce, a convicted racist and editor of Bulldog.” and launching “Nationalism Today”, he is demonstrating a lack of “Good Taste” as to the “recognized standards of decent or proper behavior”, again in contradiction to the definition of the word “decency”.

    In relation to point 5.
No, Gaddafi is not white, and by meeting with him and travelling to LIbya to obtain funding does not make him racist, but knowing he is racist (see point 3, above) it does make him a hypocrite. Again as in point 4, by meeting and dealing with Gaddafi, he is demonstrating a lack of “Good Taste” as to the “recognized standards of decent or proper behavior”, again in contradiction to the definition of the word “decency”.

    In relation to point 6.
The very fact he is “National Chairman of the British National Party” is evidence that he has joined the BNP (obviously).
Any publically available encyclopedia can only print undisputed facts by law else leaving themselves open for libel and a lawsuit for defamation of character.
“For a time Griffin edited Spearhead, a publication owned by then party leader John Tyndall. He later became editor of The Rune, an anti-Semitic magazine published by the Croydon BNP.[2] Griffin edited it until 1997.[3] In 1998 he was prosecuted in connection with the magazine;” – Wikipedia.
Besides the BBC, again open to libel if misrepresenting facts states –
“Between 1995 and 1997, Nick Griffin edited ‘The Rune’. Griffin referred to the Holocaust as a “Holohoax”.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/static/in_depth/programmes/2001/bnp_special/the_leader/beliefs.stm
By openly preaching anti-semeticism, Griffin is in direct contradiction to the “the state or quality of being decent”.

    In relation to point 7.
Back to the, i have no idea what to say, so i will just ask “So?” again, response.
Surely educating our future generations should be the priority, so why would any parties beliefs be a priority in regards to education.

    In relation to point 8.
The very fact you have ackowledged the “Jewish Holocaust” here shows your response in point 2 was, well…pointless.
Denying the holocaut is not in and of itself, illegal, but “incitement to racial hatred” is in respect of section 19 of the Public Order Act 1986 (publishing or distributing written material).
    http://www.crimereduction.gov.uk/toolkits/rh02050602.htm

It was this offence that Griffin was convicted of in 1998.Why i needed to say this is alien to me because the very thing you quoted quite clearly states “In 1998 he was found guilty of inciting race hatred at Harrow Crown Court “. My point was made to show that anyone convicted of “incitement to racial hatred” cannot by definition be called “defender of decency”.

    In relation to point 9.
Freedom of speech and human rights allow us as individuals to believe and voice any of our opinions on any given subject, to this extent, there is nothing “wrong with disliking homosexuals and homosexuality?”, although i disagree with that, he has the right to that opinion. This point was made to highlight Griffins hypocrisy and again demonstrate a failure to adhere to the definition of the word “decency”.

    In relation to point 10.
I didn’t make up anything to do with anyone’s life, i very clearly invented a story about a persons “death” to highlight the absurdity of some posts on this site with relation to certain peoples supposed demise, which had you read the posts would have been evident, especially to someone that tries to give the impression of following news and political events so closely…but do you? No, you simply paste from the BNP website without looking into the facts, this demonstrates a naivety and a character prone to being easily manipulated by any given propaganda. I prefer to make my own mind up about such matters.

Finally, in relation to point 11.
I have never claimed to be sane (note the spelling).
That sentence was supposed to invoke irony and metaphor, but i guess that as this beyond your scope of comprehension, it was lost on you. So i apologise to you for your lack of understanding and shall speak in literal terms to you from now on.
