What a brilliant film that is. Its on Channel 4 now, Ive seen it three times before, and I still think Charlize Theron is fantastic as the serial killer Aileen Wournos.

I totally agree with you shazza, i also have a dvd of an interview that was done with the real aileen wournos and it is totally uncanny just how well Charlize plays her , she has the same mannerisms, and is as close to looking exactly like her as anyone could get.
Angel, Ive seen that too, there were a couple done I think. One with the guy from channel 4 and one with another british man, but I cant think who it was. I also saw a thing on the boigraphy channel about her, all good stuff. I think thats what makes it even more shocking and compelling, the closeness to reality they have managed to capture through the movie.

Yup, I just finished watching that and it is an amazing film. Charlize Theron was fantastic. I too have seen the documentary you mention some while ago. It’s a shame they didn’t show that and the film alongside each other.

I think we saw one of the documentaries about two years before the movie, but it stuck in my mind so much that when we watched the movie we remembered it straight away.
One of the best films (even though a bit dark) Ive ever seen. Charlize is superb :D
I watched the first 30 minutes of Monster on my break at work. It looked like a good movie. Maybe I’ll rent the DVD.

It was one of those films i wanted to see but never got round to it or just forgot about it. I watched it last night and thought it was brilliant. She looks like someone totally different on the red carpet shes very petite and glowing but goes to show what a good actress she is because i kept forgetting it was her!!!!
