    I only know him coz my hubby watches Top Gear and this is a real real shame, he has 2 little girls and a wife and i hope he comes out ok. xxx

    I grew up around the car and the team who run it. Vampire has never had any problems. Its a shock…the sister car that was built with it, crashed 20 years ago this month in a similar accident, its just too spooky.

    Hammond get well soon xx I love top gear, he is a true star, no fear that man.

    As much as i like richard and hope he pulls through this and send my regards to hs family etc etc etc

    but as horrible as the news is

    i dont see why people are acting shocked by it?

    he has always lived his life fast he owns motorbikes he has fast cars he was an open adrenalin junkie and loved being in the danger seat!

    so then all of a sudden he has a crash in a rocket powered car and people are shocked?

    makes no sense

    get well soon though rich
