Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could help me I’m trying to cook more but dont have much of a clue
I want to try doing mushrooms stuffed with caramelised onions, parma ham and mozzarella cheese. Would I just fry the onions in butter until soft, take the stems off the mushrooms then stuff them with the parma ham and onions, put the cheese on top then grill them?
I don’t know where else to ask lol
Thanks
12 September, 2006 at 1:42 pm #241188Better to bake them for 8-10 mins imo
Makes the mushroom go softer.
Oh and to caramalise onions try softening them then adding a dash of balsamic vinegar and a touch of sugar. :D

lol@ Galaxy soz i don’t know how folks can say they can’t cook….
to caramelise onions, u need to had oil n butter, as the butter will burn, olive oil the best and none of that virgin stuff either…. on a med heat… melt butter n oil, then add onions… cookin them for 10/12 mins or until the golden brown colour which is the carmelisation….
but ur on the right road…. stuff n fill then grill…. guid luck…
