    Test your Broadband speed Here i know a number of people that have used this and its safe, if your in the UK click London and you will get your download / upload speed, and you can post your speed wherever, URL is on the speed test page.

    mine is 4196kbs (4mbs)download and 639kbs (half a megabyte a second) upload

    :-s I get similar results to goongirl, yet I’m supposedly paying for 2.2Mbps. What’s going on?

    you need to contact your surplier if teh speed much slower than you payed for .

    bare in mind you do get some speed reduce over bt line cause both phone and adsl run on same line, so speed can reduce a bit, not much though

    but you only really notice that one you got an 8 mb connection , mines never been 8 mb even though thats what i ordered

    Heres mine , on my Custom (modded) PC.

    but you will notice your speeds will change depending on usage of the lines in the day

    Broadband speed decreases with distance from your server (if you live in the middle of nowhere and paying for say 8meg you may only get 3 or 2, more servers are been installed so speeds will increase but we are way behind France.

    A mate of mine has done this test and he has an download speed of 1637 but an upload speed of only 42… :shock:

    Have any of u got any ideas why this might be and what can be done to rectify the problem, assuming this is a problem of course…:?:
