Well.. there are three on the near horizon that I’m looking forward to in particular…
A SCANNER DARKLY – Urban seer Richard Linklater’s rotoscopic adaptation of this Philip K Di.ck yarn looks the business with a great cast and marvelous visuals.

Since the release of the superb PI in 1998, Darren Aronofsky has been one of my fave directors! It’s been a long wait since 2000’s equally brilliant REQUIEM FOR A DREAM but this year’s Love Story / Fantasy / Sci-Fi / epic THE FOUNTAIN certainly looks .. well.. erm.. Big and interesting..

Samuel L. Jackson looks like he’s going to deliver exactly what he’s known for. He’s a bad ass and is going to play the part well.

21 March, 2007 at 5:57 am #232559I know a thing about the forthcoming film of the late Joe Strummer, and its a Rock Documentary that’s as good as it gets. i still hear some of thier songs aired on the radio and sound good to my ear even if its a classic, and my mum and pop know that they are rock icons on thier times, as me and my parents discuss a few thing about thier movie as i listen to themthey said You don’t have be a fan of the 1970s British punk rock sensation the Clash to enjoy Julien Temple’s “Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten,” a visually exciting, high-octane, rock history of the band and its charismatic frontman and songwriter, Joe Strummer. Simply said my mum: It’s terrific. So they are going to see the movie on the 18th of may” and i think i’ll come along,
