I installed winamp a few weeks ago and since then I`ve got no sound when I play music on Media Player, I`ve uninstalled Winamp but it`s no different, still no sound. Anybody got any solutions to sort this out please? :? :(
lol @ TUX .. that can happen thou .. m8 of mine stuck the speakers in the modem speakers and was wondering why he didnt have sound, but his modem was really load.
BB did you or the kids mess with the winamp play out options ?
did you check your windows volume controllers ? .. some times if youve recorded or use differant outputs, it can knock our your wave play volume settings ..
If its a problem with your sound card .. go to control panel – devices manger look to see if you have a :!: at your sound card .. if so that might be a driver or card problem .. try updating drivers first
maybe when you de installed win amp..you deleted your driver too… try re installing your drivers … or open up vulum controll and make sure nothing is muted that should’nt be
Checked everything but still no luck. Rolled back to WMP 9 and thats all ok but if I update to WMP 10 the same thing happens again. :roll:
Looks like I`ll be sticking with WMP 9 for the time being.Thanks for the ideas though Guys xxx
