As a citizen of the UK, I can disagree with the government and or the church. I can even form a political party and stand for election.

However, in a Islamic state, how can anyone argue with the word of god?

I’ve been to a Islamic country, and I’ve seen first hand the impossibility of going against Islam for the majority of people.

It’s very saddening and disturbing. I don’t know what the answer is, but it will involve the spilling of more blood.

But then this Christian country, is awash with yobbos, rapists, drug addicts and dealers, all probably professing to be Christians, so you pays your money you take your choice.

This way to the Crystal Palace.

You cannot draw a parallel between the situation in western, nominally Christian, democracies and places ruled by islamists.

True, we have microfascism here, imposed by neighbours from hell, street yobbos, drug dealers and, of course, school bullies, but that is not part of the system.

A closer parallel would be the way the Roman Catholic church ruled mediaeval Europe, when to question the Bible could mean being burnt at the stake.

The secret of totalitarianism that the jihadists have realised, as did Hitler, Stalin etc, is that you need to have the neighbours from hell, street yobbos, drug dealers and school bullies on-side, working for the system.

They mighyt punish criminals but they also punish people they think might be criminals and people who have done things that wouldn’t be considered a crime here.

If you steal they chop off your hand. If you appeal against sentence and your appeal is successful they sew it back on again.

Can’t say fairer than that !!!

But its accepted as part of the system now, if it wasn’t it would have been eliminated.

It shows that the so-called democratic Christian system is failing to control its own society.
