reading some of the recent posts… about 11yr olds pregnant… 9 yr old rapin a 4 yr old..
whats happening to our children…. whats happening to our socity…
I tend to feel now, people just don’t care they shut their doors to the outside world…
how can things like this happen, I mean a 9yr old boy rapin a baby/…. now its been reported his father is a beast as well… so is it in his Genes…??? or have he witnessed what his father has done…?? how can a child even think they things… its actually quite scary… have i lived my 35 yrs with blinkers on…???what can we do to change things…??
I honestly am a great believer in guid ole hard dispaline… now I don’t have to smack, kick up the ar5e … an ole Glesga fav…. * I’ll take my hand aff ur face….!! * I only have to increase my vocie a few decibels… at times my family say ur too hard etc… like my lass if she answers back… well she knows to run like firk..!! Ive hopefully brought her up with excellent manners and always when in a room with Adults… speak when spoken to…
I honestly am not lookin forward to the next 10 yrs with my lass… I mean I want her to respect herself and her body, she’s 8 this year.. I honestly don’t wish her to know aboot sex etc not until she’s 18 ( lol soZ ) when I was pregnant i expected alot of questions from her… but all i got thx fully was… Mummy so i came out your tummy and I said yes… and she said and the wee barra is booked in to come out your tummy… and I was like yes…. then she said… because your too psoh to push mummy eh… lol

but its sad I remember back to my sex education at school… in p7 we got told about your body changin and becomin a young lady…. then in second year we got Biology in 6.6 book lol i rem we were all giggles when the teacher started on about… but we didnt get details… just you have this… they have that…. and turn the page now please…
I think there is definitely something wrong with our society. I don’t think children know what consequences are anymore. I’m a conservative and was brought up by a single mother and raised catholic. All those years of catholic schooling lead me to think that if I ever did anything bad – I’d have to face my judgment when I died. Maybe this is why I stayed a virgin until I was 19. I’m not at all saying that religion is the answer, but there is something about the old saying “Put the fear of God in them”. That always scared me straight. But, obviously evil does exist – as is the case of the 9 rapist.
AW…. i was shyteing myself telling my Father I was pregnant at 27…!!! lol
I hear ya Mary – lol- I was 27 when I had my son – And still thought I was too young. But it worked out.
Or….are we as a society giving kids too much information too soon? Therefore making them curious and more likely to experiment sooner?
I mean, yes we have to arm them with the information, but that’s when the innocence goes. Maybe we need to concentrate more on safety than sex.
I know when I was young, I got sex education at school when I was 10 (Anyone remember the ‘Just say No’ campaign?) – and ‘The Talk’ a few days before that from my mum. After that was when I started wondering about things…sex…periods…boys etc :? Barbie and Action Man sharing a bed took on a whole new meaning :shock: :lol:

I can only ever remember once my dad hitting me. The fair was at the local park, we were given two free tickets to the fair at school, my mum had told me, straight home first and then! you can go to the fair. I didn’t, went to the fair instead and before I knew it, the lights were being turned off, it was past 11pm. I was scared shyteless at the thought of the walk home. When I got there mum said my dad was out looking for me, I was halfway up the strairs when he came in, i’d never seen him so angry, he chased me up the stairs and gave me such a slap, iv’e never forgotten it :lol: It’s only when you get older though that you realise how worried they must have been. Needless to say, I never went off anywhere after school again.

A scenario for you Mary :wink: :lol: Just over a week ago, I was in the park with the dog, i’d taken some bread to feed the ducks etc etc., there were a crowd of kiddies all on bikes and aged roughly, i’d say, 7 or 8, no older for sure. They started throwing rocks at the ducks and I told them to pack it in. The mouthpiece! says to me, what the f*cking ell’s it got to do with you!!!…………….now I know I shouldn’t have argued with kids, but I asked, well how about I throw rocks at you then, he said go on then, and i’ll have you f*cking arrested!!!! The worst thing really is that he’ s right eh :lol:
I walked away, but these little ‘angels’ followed me round the park on their bikes, calling me a f*cking white Whore, f*cking white biatch, f*cking white sl*g and a variety of other names. Another man walking his dog told them to clear off. They retorted with they’d go get their mothers to come and f*cking well sort us out. :lol:
