Great celebrations in Tasmania. Two miners were trapped since April 25th and today were freed by the rescuers…….. :D
I bet they had a devil of a job getting them out… :wink:
The mine collapsed 25th April, killing other miners.These 2 were found alive on April 30 and rescuers had been slowly and painstakingly tunnelling towards them ever since. The rock was so hard when they were drilling it was like throwing a tissue up against a rock. What saved them they were in their cage which is about 1.5 metres square, other wise they would have been crushed to death. Miracles do happen.
and the picture of the miners coming up from the mine , stepping out and hugging……no holdin of for dear life to there loved ones they thought they may never see again??? goosebumps all the way……….FANTASTIC!!!!

didnt see it but great news for both them and their familys though sad for the ones that didnt make it out alive
