    ugo

shhhhhh…..!!! ffs there`s actually a nerd lurking about

A friend of mine thinks we use the word “actually”, to express superiority.

    Example:
Bob says, i think the score on saturday was 1-1.
Cindy replies, well actually it was 2-1 Bob.

Cindy could`ve said, it was 2-1 Bob, but if she uses the word actually, it makes what she says and herself sound more superior.

Gold star to someone who can provide a sentence that needs the word “actually”.

 It’s quite a good point you’ve made actually

I guess the word could be made redundant. I know a few people who tend to overuse it when they’re drunk … what does that mean?

    #200115

It’s just a term to emphasise something.

Catz, where they actually drunk? Or just a bit tipsy?

    See above for an example.
