Smile
When life is bad and blue
Take a walk in the park
Find a rock or a bench
Then sit
Don’t say a word out loud
Or even think in silence
Empty and aware
Just look around
The grass, the ducks
People walking by
Watch everything for an hour or so
Then take a stroll on home
Reflect on the time that has past
Remember what you saw
Now look in the mirror
You’ll see what wasn’t there before
Upon your once trouble face
Now sits a relaxed joyful smileG.J.Smith
