And what set of domestic club supporters still sing their name after more than five years since they last played?
Hitler Yout… I mean Man Utd have been telling us for the past few weeks that Best was their finest ever player. Cantona doesn’t even make the top one at the club he is most remembered at. I doubt he’d make the top five of a soberly compiled list.

Singing is hardly pertinent to the question in hand. I’d be happy with any one of the first four on my list. It’s all splitting hairs at that level. All of those were genii at the highest levels, though. Cantona’s European and National level records and achievements were sketchy at best.

Maradona for me. Who can forget his “hand of god” goal. :wink: Plus the guy practically won the World Cup on his own in 86.
Cantona was a gr8 player, but I doubt he’d make the top 50 of all time.
