    Which opposing teams’ fans have you always secretly quite liked? Which lot seem never to arouse any sympathy?

    I’ve always thought Man City’s support were a good bunch, supporting their team admirably through thick and, mainly, thin. On the other hand, Leeds and Cardiff crowds have always left me cold.

    What say you lot?

    Im afraid I have had the worst experience with Man City fans, one of their fans knocked me out the way when they got relegated couple of seasons ago at portman road.
    I needed 6 stitches in my elbow :(

    Aggression can certainly colour your experiences. A Pompey fan threw a rock at me on the way out of a match once and they’d just beaten us six-two. Man City en masse, though, I’ve always found to be a generally humorous bunch. Not that they have much option.

    You didn’t say who your likes and dislikes are, Reilly.

    Well, i do like the Norwich fans as being a ipswich fan who have such a bond….. :lol: . No seriously, i think the best fans that i have encountered were the Blades fans, sheff Utd have a great following and i have had loads of good laughs with them before and after the match.
    I obviously have not met many premier league fans, for obvious reasons!!! lol, but i hope to in the near future.
    Agree with you though regarding pompey fans, i live in Portsmouth now and have to put up with them prancing about like they are THE footballs finest team.
    I hope that Rednapp takes them to where he took the Saints – Championship!!. Saints fans are more approachable than pompeys in my opinion. :D

    worst fans ever leeds utd…wouldnt piss on one aflame, absoloute scum, always have been

    always liked pompey fans as opposition how bout that…admire their loyalty and camaraderie. good bunch really, just a few badduns…

    swindon fans kicked me in on my own once so they dont qualify…
