Not exactly a hard task. Sweden, Paraquey and Trinidad and Tobago. Pretty easy passage to the next round.
Id expect Larsson to give Big John Terry et al a torrid time though. :wink:9 December, 2005 at 10:45 pm #174070Welcome back Geoff by the way.
It aint old news since I havent seen another thread dedicated to it here. Hmmm, i’ll work on the grammer and maybe one day it’ll b up to your standards? Such petiness correcting anothers spelling mistakes.
9 December, 2005 at 10:50 pm #174071Clearly Beckhams started the weekend early and downed 15 pints.
David Beckham believes his team have a genuine chance to win the World Cup after being drawn with Sweden, Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago.
“If we work hard and play to our potential we have a genuine chance of winning the World Cup,” Beckham told the FA website after Friday’s draw for the 2006 finals.
“Watching the World Cup draw today has already excited me as I think about the tournament ahead. We meet a familiar opponent in Sweden — one that both the players and manager know well,”
“I am looking forward to playing my old team mate Dwight Yorke with Trinidad & Tobago. He is someone who I share many great memories with.
“Paraguay are a bit of an unknown quantity but we will be prepared fully when we meet them,” added the Real Madrid midfielder after England were drawn in Group B.
“To use an old football cliche there are no easy games. We have to go out and prove we are one of the favourites.”
9 December, 2005 at 11:14 pm #174072Ok now u can put your dictionary away.
B wasnt a spelling mistake. B is a shortened version of be. As in 2 b or not 2 b. That is the question.
Such PETTINESS.9 December, 2005 at 11:55 pm #174073to be fair.. larsson was made to look very good in scotland
yeah hes a good player, but hes not gonna set the world on fire
10 December, 2005 at 12:06 am #174074To b fair he must b 34 now. He’s still a squad player at Barca which says a lot for a striker of that age.
The argument that he was made to look good in Scotland dosent really hold up mate when u consider that he’s proved himself at international level with Sweden and also in Europe with Celtic against some of the best defenders in Europe.10 December, 2005 at 1:13 am #174075EASY GROUP BAR SWEEDEN SHUD SEE THE NEXT ROUND NO PROBS
