OH I hate that saying, but anyway as said title says
its all about opinions really isn’t it?
I mean if we all liked the same singers, bands, books, comedians tv programmes etc
the world would be a fairly boring place
now I know this may sound daft but
as anybody else got any opinions on er opinions
ive got a lot more to say
but I don’t like hogging the boards
    well that’s my op>>>>>>>
    no stops.

Apparently at sixes and sevens may come from a French dice game but was a cinq et six

There are many idioms that are very similar between English and French which is not very surprising given where the English language comes from. One I like is that One swallow does not a summer make which is almost the same in French except summer is replaced by spring

sorry to interrupt, but ive just thought of another one
you know when people say,im not being funny but……..
you just know theres an attack, criticism albeit mild coming your way
its a way to have a “go” at you
    put sugar coated
    pah you don’t fool me
tell me how it really is
or don’t say nothing at all.
