    From a music producer called Ethan Johns;

    “I’m simply a guy in his phone book he calls up every now and again and asks if I want to do something. And you don’t say no to McCartney.”

    :roll:

    Yes you do say “no” to McCartney when he phones you, but you add on “now **** off and don’t ring me again!”

    It’s simple.

    I’d love to hook up with McCartney for a day………..I have so many questions I’d like to ask the guy

    What would you ask him, tinks?

    I’d ask him when he’s going to realise that he’s way past his sell-by date and it’s time to get rid of all the fawning people who tell him he’s still great (which he never was anyway in my opinion).

    One quote about McCartney being “too desperate to be liked to be likeable” is the way I see the fella.

    You could’ve described him as a talented musician but obviously that’d be stretching credulity wouldn’t it?
