The message board used to have a post count table so you could see who’d made the most posts.
Pats, Who Am I? ,Rainny and Lucky were always at the top battling it out for some (imaginary..) gold medal award. In their minds they were standing astride some podium whilst the national anthem played in the background and the flag of their respective country rippled proudly behind them.
Scotland – represented by Lucky – would have actually stood a chance of winning something for a change and I’m sure the whole nation was rooting for Donna at that time.
And Wales – ably represented by Who Am I? – wes also in the running.
But Pats with her bulk (and limited wording) posts, most of which only contained “lol” was always going to be a threat. Could England snatch victory? Certainly, when Pats achieved her personal best of 2,053 posts in one afternoon it looked ominous for her competitors.
Oh the heady days of stiff competition were upon us, but it seems as though those days have (rather sadly..) disappeared and I wonder why.
It’s a shame we don’t have the table these days and I’m sure a lot of people feel the same.

Absolutely jen – you’ve worked hard to get to over 11,000 posts and I think you deserve a medal for what you’ve done. Mind you, the people who read your posts deserve one too.

Lol Terry… you are a nightmare. I never look at post counts I have no idea what mine is…. and tbh having a high one is not something I would aspire to….. I dont get it. :roll:

Looking back, Pats made a total of 28,753 posts.
If each post had to have contained at least five words words to register, she would only have reached a a target of 1,012.
And if the minimum number of words-per-post required was 10 she would only have reached a post count of 32.
Amazing stats. :shock:
Jen..you are the torch bearer for all of us….keep running jen (I nearly used the name Forest there..) and go for gold babe x, Not the chocolate ‘gold’ (you’re a flake person).
