Staying motivated is a struggle — our drive is constantly assaulted by negative thoughts and anxiety about the future. Everyone faces doubt and depression. What separates the highly successful is the ability to keep moving forward.
There is no simple solution for a lack of motivation. Even after beating it, the problem reappears at the first sign of failure. The key is understanding your thoughts and how they drive your emotions. By learning how to nurture motivating thoughts, neutralize negative ones, and focus on the task at hand, you can pull yourself out of a slump before it gains momentum.True words, but is it something we can really learn though?

yes, but sometimes people need to accept they may need help to learn it, its like anything i guess you arent born being able to ride a bike you are taught and so learn how to, this doesnt immediately mean you will be able to go the next step and ride a motorbike, balance similar, turning similar, brakes similar but a whole different gig. Much like life, we think we have it mastered and a curve ball happens and we have to learn it all again or differently, its ok to not know, its being brave enough to ask for help and guidance so you can learn whatever you need to learn to get out of whatever you are up to your neck in and move forward. Some learn from experiences that maybe just put themselves in front of you in their many forms and you have to sink or swim, other may not have had this and need that help when confronted out of their comfort zones.
