Simple.
6oz of self raising flour
6oz of sugar
6oz of margerine
3 eggs
grated rind of a lemonMix all that together anyway you like.
Bung in a loaf tin lined with baking parchment.
Cook at 180 degrees till a skewer poked in it comes out clean. (About 40 minutes)In the meantime
Mix juice of two lemons with loads of granulated sugar in a jug.
Then as soon as you get take cake out of oven and still boiling hot spread it all over the top and sides of cake, which will then go crispy when cold.If you want to fiddle pr1ck the cake all over five minutes before you take it out with a skewer so the drizzle sinks into it.
Hey presto Lemon Drizzle, simple and lush !
And never fails. If you want something posher let me know !

180 in a non-fan assisted oven is gas mark 4, 150 is gas mark 2.
180 in a fan assisted oven is gas mark 6, 150 is gas mark 3.So you need Rose and Blossom to say whether their recipes are for fan assisted or non fan assisted ovens.
And I’d also like to know where you get potato starch please :D
