A short on-stage narrative from our very special guest: fastcars.
Audience warmly applauds as fastcars appears on stage….
“Pats……… More and more people are starting to see what you’re up to. They’d have to be blind not to notice. The way you bond with anyone that has a dislike of me and attack those that do is becoming all to obvious. It saddens me that you can’t go a single day without attempting to put me down.
It all started happening long before most on here noticed, some 8 months ago now. The more I ignored you the more your momentum gathered pace. You set about gathering your allies in your anti fastcars campaign, and before long you had a large part of the site on your side, everyone was at it. It suddenly became cool to dislike fastcars. And you were there right in the mix, stirring things up and loving every minute of it.
In your attempts to bring me down you also end up trying to bring the site down. Leaking out bits of gossip to those who you felt would pick up and run with it, while you sat back quietly grinning at a job well done. Thankfully those people realised what you were up to and have now backed off. So who’s left for you to use next? Oh yeah….. that brings us nicely back to mims again.
You need to have a good long think about what the likes of Moon are saying Pats. They are tired of you trying to bring this site down. They are tired of your relentless attacks on me. They are tired of the way you latch onto anyone who’ll support you in your cause. And they are tired of how you care not one jot about the people who like this site and want to get it back how it used to be.
If you want to be a part of Pa ts Chat then great, join in and start being supportive. If you don’t, then leave. Because I promise that I will strive to bring this place back to its feet for those who want it come hell or high water. With or without your contribution Pats. And if you carry on acting the way you have of late a lot more people won”t care whether you stay or go either, just like I stopped caring a long long time ago.”

dammit I got all excited there as even as a wee lass i loved the ” play for today” series, and would love to see them now as a Big Grown up Lassie ! The best of Post war British writing EVER.. apart from Richard Burton in the Glass Menagerie…I watched him last week on Parkinson replays. Cool cool Welshman..
